Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was raised in a loving family and was supported by his parents. Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Carissa Sharon has chosen the route of her father in spreading the Word of God to the world. Also known CSO she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained a BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he felt God called him to be an ordained minister to the Lord.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) that is a non profit, not-for-profit organization with the goal of helping those who are most vulnerable as well as communities within the poorest countries and regions around the world.

The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide vital services and bring hope to the needy, poor, and forgotten. Five partners make up COFI and are working to improve the living conditions in the most deprived areas.

COFI oversees the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of the organizations works to improve lives, health and spirits of those in dire need.
