Slot missions are a great opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and other items. They’re hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly get full early in the game, resulting in the common message “Your Gear Slots Are Full”. This message stops Max to pick new equipment until the previous items are removed or more space has been obtained. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. Since many of these challenges are not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take a while to reach the maximum number slots for inventory in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your concealed weapon or gear slots and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful when you have to go through a frisk later in the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise trigger suspicion. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at an agency pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions, just talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Then, go to the designated marker and locate a mob at the time of arrival.
